National Standardization Team

TCCA has established a national standardization team that is managed by the International Regulations section of the Regulatory Standards Division in Headquarters. The national standardization team will serve as a resource if difficulties are encountered when establishing a certification basis for a changed product. They will also periodically review decisions made to ensure national consistency.

The initial point of contact for applicants will be their regional National Aircraft Certification office or their Project Manager (AARDE) in Headquarters.

National Aircraft Certification personnel will contact the national standardization team.

The national standardization team will make the determination using the corporate knowledge of its members and the recommendation of the National Aircraft Certification personnel who made the request. Questions on the Changed Product Rule that relate to process, interpretation, documentation, implementation, training, or related resource issues should be directed to the national standardization team.
