Avionics and Electrical Systems

The Avionics and Electrical Systems is organized into the two sections of Avionics and Electrical Systems, with each having definite areas of responsibility.

The Section has responsibility for provision of policy and guidance to TC aircraft certification engineers and design approval delegates, and for approval of aeronautical products, in the fields of avionics and aircraft electrical systems.

The Sections' engineer participate in international standards development and harmonization activities through such organizations as CARAC, ARAC, SAE, RTCA, EUROCAE, etc.
