Information Note:
Operators with an approved maintenance schedule may obtain approval to deviate from the standard where acceptable documentation can be provided to Transport Canada.
(a) Conduct an operational check at 12 month intervals.
(b) Conduct a functional test at the intervals recommended by the ULD manufacturer.
(c) Clean the water switch at the intervals recommended by the ULD manufacturer.
(d) Replace the ULD battery at the intervals recommended by the battery manufacturer or by the date indicated on the battery, whichever occurs first.
