  • Recreational Aviation &Special Flight Operations - provides regulatory oversight for the recreational aviation community. We are the focal point for a wide variety of individuals, schools, clubs, companies and organizations involving balloons, airships, hang gliders, gliders, gyroplanes, ultra-lights, powered parachutes, and unmanned air vehicles. In addition, we issue flight operation certificates for special aviation events such as air shows.

  • General Aviation Delegates - operates a program, which provides authority to aviation industry personnel charged with specific roles, and continues to delegate authority to responsible persons and organizations, where appropriate. These programs include the Pilot Examiner Program, the General Aviation Authorized Examination Invigilators and the General Aviation Authorized Person Program.

  • Maintenance and Manufacturing Minister's Delegates - provide procedural guidelines associated with the issuance of a delegation of authority to qualified individuals, enabling them to act as a Minister's Delegate - Maintenance, as a Minister's Delegate - Recreational Aviation, as a Minister's Delegate-Production, and as a Restricted Certifying Authority.
