Civil Aviation

The Civil Aviation Branch works with Canadian air operators, aircraft manufacturers, aircraft maintenance organizations, airport operators, flying schools, and air navigation service providers to maintain the continuing safety of Canada's aviation system. The Branch's mandate encompasses the full spectrum of regulatory responsibilities necessary to provide effective safety oversight in all aspects of civil aviation.
