Air Navigation Services Oversight Division

Audits, Inspections and Monitoring

This division is responsible for the regulatory and safety oversight of air navigation services provided in Canada. Currently this responsibility is accomplished by conducting audits, inspections, and monitoring activities to verify and ensure compliance with the applicable Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and associated standards. Increasingly, this work is transitioning to surveillance, certification and quality management with the implementation of Safety Management Systems.
