General - Use of Flight Simulator or Flight Training Device

For a partial flight test, and at the discretion of the examiner, a Level A or higher flight simulator or a flight training device (min. Level 2) approved in accordance with CAR 606.03, Synthetic Flight Training Equipment, may be used to re-test Exercise 24D, Radio Navigation.  A Level 3, 5 or 6 flight training device that reproduces the aeroplane type used for the failed flight test may be used to re-test Exercise 29, Emergency Procedures.
