More Thoughts on the "Accountable Executive"

While Blackfly Air managers briefly explained their understanding of the "accountable executive" concept (which was right on by the way, but somewhat narrow), here is perhaps a more appropriate explanation. The accountable executive is the person with control of the financial and human resources required for the operations authorized to be conducted under the operations certificate. The accountable executive is also responsible for establishing and maintaining the safety management system (SMS).
