General Aviation On-Line Services

Transport Canada offers on-line services for:

To gain access to these on-line services, simply sign up for an Access Key account. An Access Key account allows you to securely communicate with the above-mentioned Transport Canada services.

General Aviation on-line services include:

Aircraft Registration and Leasing

  • Reservation and issuance of registration marks
  • Renewal of a mark reservation
  • Notification of a change of ownership
  • Notification of a change of address
  • Submission of a Leasing Advisory (LF-5)

Plus, you can view all of your marks, registrations and leasing activities.

Flight Crew Licensing

View your:

  • Personal information
  • Licence/permit information
  • Medical certificate information
  • Flight tests and results
  • Written tests and results

Plus, you can update your address and telephone numbers electronically.

Air Traffic Controller Licensing

View your:

  • Personal information
  • Licence information
  • Medical Certificate information

Plus, update your address and telephone numbers.

To gain access to the General Aviation On-Line Services site you must have an  Access Key account.

If you already have an  Access Key account for other government services you can use the same account. Click on www.tc.gc.ca/generalaviationservices and it will direct you to the  Access Key sign in page. Once you successfully sign in you will be on the General Aviation On-Line Services site. To obtain activation key to permit access to your records you must submit a New User Request. Your activation key will be mailed to the address on file with the General Aviation office. Once you have received your activation key letter sign in and enter the activation key. This will allow access to your records.

If you do not have an  Access Key account click on www.tc.gc.ca/generalaviationservices and it will direct you to the  Access Key page. Follow the directions to obtain a username and password. Once you have successfully obtained your username and password,  Access Key will direct you to the General Aviation On-Line Services site. To obtain activation key to permit access to your records you must submit a New User Request. Your activation key will be mailed to the address on file with the General Aviation office.
