Nondestructive Testing

The AEG provides support to the Aircraft Certification Branch and manufacturers, in assessing the suitability of proposed nondestructive inspection procedures intended for publication in the in the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) and assessment of service information that pertains to NDT inspections that are being carried out by a maintenance organization. These assessments include verification of suitable content and format, appropriate identification of test equipment and calibration standards as well as proposed inspection intervals.
