An individual operating a Lazair ultra light aircraft crashed shortly after take-off. The investigation that followed revealed that the aircraft did not have any visible markings or any markings displayed. In addition, the individual did not hold a licence, permit or rating to operate the aircraft and did not hold a valid medical certificate. The individual was sanctioned with a monetary penalty totalling $1,750.00.

An owner of a Robinson R44 helicopter was held responsible for the aircraft being  flown at a very low altitude and in very close proximity to a group of people standing on a river bank. Pictures taken at the scene indicate that the  aircraft was flown as low as 20 to 30 feet above the water. The individual was  sanctioned with a $1,000.00 monetary penalty.
