Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP)

The Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Division is the focal point between the requester and departmental officials. It is responsible for processing Access and Privacy requests, recommending exemptions pursuant to the ATIP legislation, providing expert advice to the department on ATIP legislation, and representing the department in the investigation of complaints filed with the Information and Privacy Commissioners.
