Departmental Evaluation Services

As Transport Canada’s (TC’s) centre of excellence for results-based management, Departmental Evaluation Services assists TC managers in meeting the federal government requirements for:

  • increased accountability,
  • effective and efficient management practices, and
  • value-added and demonstrable results for Canadians.

We provide credible, meaningful and timely assessments of the ongoing needs and overall effectiveness of the Department’s policies, programs and initiatives through the use of evaluation and results-based management. Departmental Evaluation Services endeavors to provide relevant, high-quality services and information to all groups and regions of the Department.
