Safety Recall – Volvo Penta
Important Notice to Volvo Penta Gasoline Engine Owners
Volvo Penta has commenced a recall campaign involving 3.0L, 4.3L and 5.0L carburetted engines in the non-sequential serial number range 4012177265 to 4012204622. These engines are installed in some model 2006 and 2007 year boats. Owners of boats with engines within this serial number range are requested to return to their authorised Volvo Penta servicing dealer for inspection and, if appropriate based on a manufacturing date code on the carburettor, replacement of the carburettor as soon as possible. Volvo Penta asks that owners do not use their boats until the engine is inspected by an authorised Volvo Penta dealer.
