Transport Canada’s Office of Boating Safety (OBS) is pleased to announce the introduction of an automatic e-mail notification system for updates to the OBS website.
How to Subscribe to the OBS Electronic Mailing List
To subscribe to the OBS electronic mailing list, read through the instructions below and then select the following Internet address: http://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/Comm/5/ListServ/Menu.aspx?lang=eng
This will bring you to Transport Canada’s mailing list subscription page.
- Enter your name in the Enter your name box
- Enter your e-mail address in the Enter your e-mail address box
- Select “Site Updates” from the dropdown list in the I am interested in box
- Click Enter
You will now be taken to the main Transport Canada e-news Web page.
- In the list of Sections, deselect the All sections box
- Select the Office of Boating Safety box
- Leave Regions blank
- Review your name and e-mail address in the Your Personal Information box
- Click Save subscription changes
Once you receive the e-mail listing the subjects for which you will receive automatic e-mail notification, scroll down and click on the Internet link supplied or copy and paste the link into your browser.
A Web page will display confirming successful update of your subscription.
As information is updated or added to the OBS website, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the update or change.
