Symbols for types of restrictions

If the boating restriction prohibits power-driven vessels, the sign must show a propeller symbol crossed by a diagonal bar.

If the restriction prohibits all power-driven vessels, except those with electrical propulsion, the sign must show a gas pump superimposed on a propeller and crossed by a diagonal bar.

If the boating restriction limits the speed at which a boat may be driven, the sign will show the appropriate number above the phrase "MAX km/h."

If the boating restriction prohibits a boat from towing a person on water skis or a surf board, the sign will show the word "SKI" crossed by a diagonal bar.

If the restriction limits the size of the power of the engine that may be operated in the waterway, the sign must show the appropriate number over the phrase "MAX kW."
