When a boating restriction applies only to certain hours of the day, those hours must be marked in red on a symbol of a clock. The hours during which the activity is permitted are marked in green.
Days of the week are represented by seven squares with the first letter of the day in English and French. The squares marked red indicate the days the restriction is in effect and those in green when the activity is allowed.
Months of the year, from April to November, are represented by a series of seven squares with the first letter of the month in white. Squares marked red indicate the months the restriction applies. Those in green show the months the activity is allowed.
