Updated child car seat safety regulations come into force

News Release

OTTAWA — The Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Minister of Health, on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, today participated in a child car seat installation demonstration, in advance of updated child car seat safety regulations becoming mandatory on January 1, 2012.

Improvements completed at Clarkson GO Station

New parking structure opened at Centennial GO Station

News Release

 MARKHAM, ONTARIO — Costas Menegakis, Member of Parliament for Richmond Hill; Michael Chan, Member of Provincial Parliament for Markham-Unionville; and Gary McNeil, GO Transit president, officially opened the new parking structure at the Centennial GO Station that is making it easier for commuters to take public transit. Faregates to Improve SkyTrain Security, Reduce Fare Evasion

News Release

VANCOUVER — Construction officially began today to install the first transit faregates at the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station. Once in full operation, the faregates will make taking transit safer and easier for people travelling on the entire transit system in Metro Vancouver.

Minister Fletcher Announces Investment in Airport Safety at Prince Albert Airport
