No. PNR 001/04
For release - February 5, 2004
Transport Canada has taken this action in the interest of public safety following a comprehensive review of inspection findings. This review followed months of monitoring of company operations and maintenance management practices. The department consulted with Keystone Air Service Ltd. prior to the suspension and the company had an opportunity to provide input into the process. Today's suspension does not preclude any further regulatory action at a later date.
The department will continue to work with Keystone Air Service Ltd. The company will need to demonstrate that it meets all applicable rules and regulations before its Air Operator Certificate will be re-instated.
