Proposed Pickering Airport Site Zoning Regulations Open House Consultation Summary Report (Word document)

Transport Canada's sixty (60) day formal Public Consultation period for the Pickering Airport Site Zoning Regulations was initiated by the first publication of the Pickering Airport Site Zoning Regulations in Canada Gazette, Part 1 on April 12, 2003. The formal Public Consultation period ran from April 12, 2003 to June 11, 2003. Persons wishing to make written representations during this period were invited to do so by sending a letter via regular mail, electronic mail, or facsimile to Transport Canada.

All written representations to Transport Canada sent by post, facsimile or email, received by June 11, 2003, were included in the formal Public Consultation.

Interested parties were invited to find out more about the proposed Pickering Airport Site Zoning Regulations by attending an Open House at one of the following locations.

Weekday sessions were held between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and Saturday sessions between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Transport Canada made a brief presentation at 7:00 p.m. at each week-night Open House and at 3:00 p.m. at week-end Open Houses.
