The following services are provided by

Victoria:
- Conduct periodic inspections and certification of ships (hull, machinery, equipment)
- Carry out occurrence investigations
- Carry out pollution investigations and prosecutions
- Carry out inspections of vessels to ensure dangerous goods regulations are followed
- Check for non-authorized transportation of passengers
- Provide technical expertise to field surveyors as well as technical and regulatory information to the marine transportation industry
