Sustainable Transportation

"Sustainable transportation" means transportation that produces few, if any, air pollution emissions. Examples include public transport, carpools, car sharing, walking and cycling.

Transport Canada's current sustainable transportation strategy takes a results-based approach to urban, freight and marine transportation.
