ecoFREIGHT

Transport Canada’s ecoFREIGHT Program, which operated from April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2011 worked with the freight transportation industry towards a greater uptake of technologies and practices that reduce fuel consumption, criteria air contaminants and greenhouse gas emissions.

The ecoFREIGHT website is a collection of studies, reports, videos, calculators, factsheets, webinars and awards. These tools and resources have been organised into the four modes (Air, Marine, Rail and Road) and a fifth non-mode specific section for shippers.

To find out more about the ecoFREIGHT program, please visit the About section or the Frequently Asked Questions.
