Eligible Vehicles
What Vehicles got Rebates?
The list of eligible vehicles was established by Transport Canada. The list included:
- New cars getting 6.5 L/100km or better and new light trucks getting 8.3 L/100km or better. The list featured hybrid electric and highly energy efficient vehicles. In addition, new flexible-fuel vehicles with combined fuel consumption E85 ratings of 13.0 L/100km or less were eligible.
Please note: 2009 model year vehicles were not eligible to receive a rebate under the ecoauto Rebate Program.
