Video: The Life Electric

Most cars and trucks today run on gasoline or diesel. They produce about 12% of Canada’s total greenhouse gas emissions each year. So we need to look for ways to make cars and trucks use less fuel a pollute less.

Electric vehicles (EV) – hybrid, plug-in hybrid electric and fully battery electric – are a step in the right direction. Unlike gasoline or diesel cars, they produce no emissions or pollutants when operating on electricity.

But is an electric car right for you? The video below explores what EVs mean for Canadians and how they could fit into the Canadian transportation system.
