Hybrid vehicles — We've all heard of them, but many drivers still have questions about how they work and what makes them different from gasoline or electric cars.

Hybrid vehicles use two different sources of power for propulsion: an electric motor and an internal combustion engine. They take advantage of the best features of gasoline and battery electric vehicles - reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions without sacrificing performance or range.
