The Climate Change Communiqués
The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) is the advocate for Canada's motoring and traveling public. The CAA speaks out on behalf of its members and other travelers to improve traffic safety, infrastructure, mobility and ease of travel, while addressing emissions and taxation issues.
What are they doing?
The CAA is developing a series of Climate Change Communiqués, to distribute information on climate change and transportation issues to CAA's four million members as well as to the general public.
The project will also develop:
- A series of four articles in Leisureways magazine on "Your Car and Climate Change".
- Information will be disseminated through brochures on display in CAA offices, affiliated partners, and through renewal mailouts to CAA members.
- A Speaker's Corner is being established to highlight climate change and transportation issues to a wide variety of audiences.
- A Climate Change Driver's Kit is being made available through a 1-800 number.
