The Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) is the voice for enhancing the public transit industry in Canada. Its mission is to establish public transit as the primary solution to urban mobility in the achievement of sustainable transportation, and to assist its members in the fulfillment of their mandates.

Many groups have benefited from the positive impacts of the CUTA - IYS. Since delegates participate in pre-summit and post-summit meetings with local transit systems and community groups, opportunities for lasting partnerships are created. Transit system staff has often marveled at the interest and enthusiasm of delegates in their motivation to solve the current transportation challenges facing our cities.
