Guidelines Under the International Bridges and Tunnels Act
The guidelines provide the basic requirements to include in an application for construction, alteration, and/or change in ownership, operator or control of an international bridge or tunnel across the Canada – United States border.
The guidelines below are for reference only and do not constitute an exhaustive or exclusive inventory of requirements. Additional information may be requested after the application has been submitted for review. Requirements listed from other departments and/or agencies are for information only. For additional information on any other Act of Parliament mentioned in these guidelines, the applicant should contact the responsible authority listed.
