The Sept-Îles Airport is owned and operated by Transport Canada. The airport has been designated a Regional/Local airport under the National Airports Policy.

Facilities and Services

The Sept-Îles Airport has a total land area of 922 ha and includes the following facilities:

• air terminal building of 10,560 m² built in 1978
• Two paved runways. The longest one (6552' x 150') is open all year round, while the second one (5771' x 200') is open during the summer.
• flight service station
• combined maintenance garage of 1,953 m²
• refuelling service
• aircraft maintenance centres
• two FBO
