Kuujjuaq Airport

Business opportunities

The Kuujjuaq Airport is located 1.5 km from the village of Kuujjuaq, the administrative centre of Nunavik.

The airport serves the villages along Ungava Bay (Kangiqsualujjuaq, Tasiujaq, Aupaluk, Kangirsuk, Quaqtaq) and the Hudson Strait (Kangiqsujuaq, Salluit) to Montreal.

It provides an important air link, enabling passengers, essential goods and cargo to be transported to the villages along Ungava Bay and the Hudson Strait. Approximately 4,000 hunters and fishers pass through the Kuujjuaq Airport each year on their way to various outfitters in Northern Quebec.

Land rentals

The airport is leasing land with and without airside access. We can offer profitable opportunities to business people interested in coming to Kuujjuaq area and setting up commercial concessions or businesses on airport land whether aviation-related or not.
