Railway Safety Act Review Steering Committee

As a result of the recommendations of the Railway Safety Act Review (http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/tcss/rsa_review/index.htm) independent advisory panel, the Railway Safety Act Review (RSAR) Steering Committee, with representatives of Transport Canada, industry and unions, has been established to oversee the plan for implementing the recommendations that are jointly addressed to Transport Canada and industry.

Six joint TC-Industry-Union Working Groups have been established to develop strategies to address how to implement the recommendations.

The Working Groups will provide regular status updates on progress to achieve implementation of recommendations to the Steering Committee and the Advisory Council on Railway Safety (ACRS).
