Some U.S. Audi vehicles may be equipped with a Multi Media Interface (MMI) system which can turn off the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) while vehicle is in motion. In Canada, DRLs must be permanently on once a vehicle is in motion. The DRL control system of such vehicles may need to be re-programmed to disable the feature that permits turning off DRLs. Contact an authorized Audi dealer for more information.
Note-1: VW of America has indicated that some 2000 TT models require replacement of seat backs for tether anchorage modifications (to comply to CMVSS 210.1). Importer should verify with VW of America before importing a vehicle into Canada as modifications may be expensive.
