NON-MODIFIED MULTIPURPOSE PASSENGER VEHICLES - vehicles as delivered from the original manufacturer which includes vans, mini-vans, sport utility vehicles, etc. but does not include pick-up trucks and trucks.

Domestic and foreign manufacturers of multipurpose passenger vehicles, i.e. vans,
minivans, jeeps and some 4x4 vehicles, sport utility vehicles.
All MPV models manufactured BEFORE September 1, 2007(except those listed in the inadmissible column) that have been certified by the original equipment manufacturer at the time of the main assembly as meeting all applicable U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and have not undergone any alteration other than typical repair (see notes).

BMW: BMW Canada informed Transport Canada that ALL modifications MUST be performed (and documented) by an authorized Canadian BMW or MINI retailer and must be completed before a recall clearance letter can be issued by BMW Group Canada. Contact an authorized Canadian BMW or MINI retailer for information on the exact nature and costs of modifications required. Modifications vary by model and may be expensive. Visit the BMW Canada website at www.bmw.ca for detailed contact information on retailers in Canada, as well as information on U.S. vehicle importation.
MERCEDES-BENZ: Possible modifications may include: daytime running lights, metric odometer and speedometer labels. Other requirements may also apply. Mercedes-Benz Canada informed Transport Canada that ALL modifications MUST be performed (and documented) by an authorized Canadian Mercedes-Benz Retailer. Contact manufacturer for details on required modifications for U.S. Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Contact Mercedes-Benz USA at 1-800-367-6372 or Mercedes-Benz Canada at 1-800-387-0100.

VOLVO: Volvo Canada informed Transport Canada that ALL modifications MUST be performed by an authorized Canadian Volvo dealership and must be completed before a recall clearance letter can be issued by Volvo Canada. Contact an authorized Canadian Volvo dealership for information on the exact nature and costs of modifications required. Modifications vary by model and may be expensive. GENERAL MOTORS: Some U.S. GM vehicles are equipped with a switch that can turn off the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) while vehicle is in motion. In Canada, DRLs must be permanently on once vehicle is in motion. The DRL control system of your vehicle may need to be reprogrammed to neutralize switch that permits turning DRLs off. For more information, please contact your GM dealer.
