Note 1: Since not all Scion models are sold in Canada, Toyota Canada will not supply information relating to the modifications required to bring them into Canadian compliance. Possible modifications may include: daytime running lights, electronic immobilization system, metric odometer and speedometer labels. At federal inspection, the Registrar of Imported Vehicles will verify that vehicle is equipped with daytime running lamps and that odometer and speedometer are properly identified. Importer must demonstrate that vehicle is equipped with electronic immobilization system. See paragraph #9 of Explanations Section for more details on immobilizers.
