Certificate Holder: The members of the Propane Gas Association

of Canada

CONDITIONS

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes the members of the Propane Gas Association of Canada, to handle, offer for transport or transport and authorizes any person to handle or transport on behalf of the certificate holder, or to return to the certificate holder, in a road vehicle, dangerous goods that are LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GASES; or PETROLEUM GASES, LIQUEFIED, Class 2.1, UN1075, in a manner that does not comply with subsection 4.15(3) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, if:

(a) the dangerous goods are transported in a means of containment that displays a placard that corresponds to a placard set out in Part 4 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations;

(b) the placard is displayed on each long side of the means of containment;

(c) the capacity of each portable means of containment does not exceed 10000 L;

CONDITIONS

(d) the shipping document that accompanies the dangerous goods includes the following information legibly and indelibly printed:

"Dangerous Goods Certificate No. SH 8629 - by road vehicle only -

expiry date: November 30, 2012", or its French equivalent.

Note: The issuance of this Equivalency Certificate in no way reduces the certificate holder's responsibility to comply with any other requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations not specifically addressed in this Certificate.
