Participate in our technical workshop on quieting ships to protect the marine environment
The Government of Canada is hosting a three day technical workshop to share knowledge and advance work on quiet ship designs and technologies to help protect the marine environment.
Experts in ship design or underwater noise from ships, including naval architects, national policy makers, marine engineers, ship owners and operators, shipyards, industry associations, researchers and academics are encouraged to attend.
During this workshop, the benefits and barriers of using new ship designs and leading technologies to reduce underwater noise from ships will be discussed.
