Overview of results

Overall, the results of this years’ service performance shows continued improvement in operational performance under normal circumstances.

All programs exceeded performance targets for the department’s mandatory service standards related to acknowledgement of receipt of funding applications and most programs met the performance target to issue payments.

The overall average service performance for all programs and all standards exceeded 90%.

Areas for improvement

Moving forward, Transport Canada will continue to look for opportunities to enable ongoing improvement in the way we deliver grant and contribution programs, including increasing the annual service standard performance target from 80% to 90%.
