Aerodrome Safety Functional Directives

Transport Canada issues Aerodrome Safety Functional Directives (ASDs) to provide information on safety requirements for people working in the aviation industry. Aerodromes can be defined as areas used for the arrival, departure and maintenance of aircraft.

All documents issued after 01 Feb 2007 are now published as Advisory Circulars or Staff Instructions.
