Purpose:

This safety alert is to advise the Canadian public of the issuance by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of an Unapproved Parts Notice that may affect Ameri-King Corp. products in Canada.

Background:

The FAA has determined that Ameri-King Corp. manufactured, repaired, sold and distributed aircraft appliances and parts which did not conform to their approved design.

The Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) require that parts conform to their type design to be eligible for installation on aeronautical products.

Recommended action:
