Since 1992, the Transport Dangerous Goods Directorate has been negotiating with our Provincial and Territorial partners, the terms of individual Agreements respecting the administration of the Transportation Dangerous Goods Act, 1992 as authorized under Section 4 of the Act. To date these negotiations have led to the conclusion and signing of 13 such agreements. The general thrust of these Administrative Agreements is to formalize the continuing cooperative arrangements that have been in place and successfully employed in the operation of the national TDG program since 1985.
