Vehicles listed as inadmissible in any section of the Vehicle Import Compatibility list.

Vehicles branded salvage non-rebuildable or non-repairable, junk, scrap, parts-only, flood, water damage or equivalent.

Vehicles bearing evidence of flood or water damage when being presented at the Canadian border.

Refer to the next section for importing vehicles into Canada for scrap or parts via the RIV vehicles for parts only program (Form-3).

NOTES

Importer must submit a valid "Certificate of Title" or registration document from a licensing authority or licensed insurance provider upon entry into Canada.

A salvage brand on a vehicle's title or within its branding history may severely limit your ability to get the vehicle licensed and insured in Canada. Contact your local licensing authority to learn more.
