Grey market McLaren vehicles less than 15 years old from the date of modification are inadmissible for importation into Canada. They are foreign-specification vehicles originally manufactured for a domestic market other than the United States and re-certified by another U.S. company. Please contact the manufacturer to confirm the standards at original assembly of a vehicle before purchasing or importing a vehicle. |
See EXPLANATIONS section.
Note 1: McLaren requires that importers contact an authorized McLaren dealer in Canada to determine the exact nature and costs of modifications. Modifications vary by year and model and may be expensive. Note 2: All modifications to bring the vehicle into compliance must be performed (and documented) by an authorized Canadian McLaren dealer and must be completed before a recall clearance letter can be issued. Note 3 #: The manufacturer will not issue a confirmation of no outstanding recalls for vehicles that were once declared "salvaged" in the U.S. See paragraph 8 of EXPLANATIONS section. For additional information specific to a vehicle, please contact a McLaren dealer in Canada. Visit www.cars.mclaren.com to locate a dealer. |
